Scholars of H.O.P.E. - 21st Century After School Program:

​Omega CDC received a 21st Century grant from the Ohio Department of Education to provide after school programming for students attending Fairview  PreK-6 School at Fairview Commons.
The Scholars of H.O.P.E (Healthy. Optimistic. Prepared. Educated.) program is designed to meet students’ academic and social needs by increasing the amount of learning and enrichment opportunities and fostering a safer after school environment.

Prevention With A Purpose Program:

Program is open to
  • 5th and 6th graders from Fairview Elementary School
  • 7th and 8th graders from Edwin Joel Brown Middle School​


​​Prevention With A Purpose follows the same schedule as Scholars of H.O.P.E. until 5 p.m. at that time we transition from academics into prevention.
  • Academics consists of weekly mentoring, and weekly field trip to K12 Gallery. 
  • Prevention With A Purpose uses the main curriculum "Too Good for Drugs" by the Mendez Foundation. ​​

​Providing a variety of programs, events, and resources so the students can learn, and the parents are in engaged so the the Fairview families can be successful. ​

Children's Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom School:

​​​The Omega Community Development Corporation serves scholars grades K-8 through Children’s Defense Fund Freedom School Summer Enrichment Program at the Dayton Boys Preparatory Academy and Fairview Prk-6 School.
