Breaking Ground on Senior Lofts!​
Construction kicks off for new Dayton apartment this groundbreaking event of the Omega Senior Lofts was held on March 4th of 2019. Read the full article and watch the recorded news clip here. ​​
“We are grateful to see this investment coming to the Northwest region of our city,” Vanessa Oliver Ward, president of the Omega Community Development Corporation, said in a statement Omega posted on Facebook about the ground breaking. “In 2005 the Omega Baptist Church purchased this 32-acre campus (formerly United Theological Seminary) and envisioned building a community center that housed needed services, a senior living facility, outdoor recreation, and a worship center to serve as an anchor of hope and revitalization to empower children and their families.”

Omega Senior Lofts- Affordable Housing for Seniors project in Dayton gains $1.2M in tax credits:

​Omega Senior Lofts, a future 81-unit apartment community at 1810 Harvard Blvd., was recently approved for $1.2 million in housing tax credits by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, according to this OHFA documents.

​The apartment community would provide affordable housing to seniors, with a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartment homes with energy-efficient features, full-time on-site management, a fitness center, business center and community room.
The project is being developed by MVAH Partners (formerly known as Miller-Valentine Group’s affordable housing division), and is part of a partnership with Omega Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit established by the Omega Baptist Church to assist individuals and families living in poverty in west Dayton.
